I recently wrote an article for the fabulous Amy Medling of PCOS Diva on the relationship between leaky gut and PCOS. As you probably know by now, I’m quite interested in autoimmune disease itself as you can see from my articles here, here, and here. It’s well known that there is a relationship between PCOS and autoimmunity, as the incidence of Hashimoto’s is higher in patients with PCOS. The gut, and intestinal permeability (also known as leaky gut), is involved in autoimmune disease as well.
